Jammu and Kashmir: Reports are coming in that Pakistan is trying to push in militants infected with COVID-19 to spread the virus among Indian security forces and also among the population. Indian Army has already issued guidelines on how to handle and dispose of dead bodies of these militants killed in encounters with Indian security forces.
The Indian Army has also asked soldiers to wear protective gear and to maintain no direct contact with the dead bodies of terrorists.
The intelligence agencies had discovered the diabolical plan of the Pakistanis to infect Indian soldiers with the deadly virus.
An army official said, “The contact must be minimum while burying the bodies. Instructions have been passed on to all field locations in forward areas to take necessary precautions and wear protective gear while handling bodies.”
Pakistan is also indulging in ceasefire violation across the LoC to divert Indian soldiers engaged in COVID-19 relief measures in the country. There were a total of 1,200 cases of ceasefire violation since the beginning of this year. In March alone, when the cases begin to swell in India and Pakistan, there were 411 cases of ceasefire violations.
There are reports that Pakistan is moving COVID-19 positive persons in Pakistan administered Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. They are being moved in locked transport carriers.
Earlier, the exiled Chairman of United Kashmir People’s National Party (UKPNP), Sardar Shaukat Ali Kashmiri, accused the Imran Khan’s government for deliberately infecting the Pakistan occupied Kashmir with the deadly COVID-19.
Shaukat Ali Kashmiri said, “Islamabad must end intentionally spreading coronavirus in PoK to get international aid. Imran Khan PTI government is intentionally spreading the coronavirus to get international aid and is also trying to use the territory of Kashmir to house their sick, which is a diabolical move.”
